ABOUT US
Founded in 2017, BOXRAW was built to lead the narrative of boxing: the lifestyle, the culture and the competition of our sport. We move the sport forwards with product that’s credible, creative and disruptive, across every corner of boxing. We back fighters* of every level, gender and ability, whether they’re competing on the world stage or against themselves.
The reason we’ve got this far is our people, and the reason we’ll get where we’re going is who we hire next. We believe in talent and passion, we look for dedication and energy, and we back the people who bring creativity and new thinking. We don’t care where you come from. We care where you’re headed. We’re a mix of backgrounds and we like it that way. If you work smart and you’re still getting better, we want to hear from you.
*In every mind is a fighter.
THE ROLE
You own the stock. All of it. What we buy, in what sizes, at what price, when it lands and when it gets marked down. You plan the year ahead rather than reacting to the quarter, you keep the bestsellers in stock, and you’re the commercial voice next to product when a decision needs testing against the numbers.
Right now we buy too deep and not often enough, which leaves cash in stock that does not sell and gaps where it does. Fixing that is the job.
HOW YOU’LL WORK
- You sit in the commercial team and report to our Commercial Director.
- You’re in the product team’s daily standup, every day. Whatever we’re curious about on a new product, you bring the data to it.
- You’re the go-to person for anything to do with product data. If anyone needs to know how a product, category or price point is performing, they come to you.
- The Buying Admin Assistant handles purchase orders, the product database, SKUs and barcodes, and supplier chasing, and reports to you. Your time goes on the numbers, not the admin.
Main Accountabilities
Stock
- You own all stock. What we’re holding, what’s on the water, what’s committed, in every size.
- You own stock cover and stock turn. Inventory stays flat rather than peaking and troughing, which means buying more often in smaller quantities rather than betting the season on one big drop.
- You own availability on the bestsellers. They don’t go out of stock, and you forecast their annual units so we’re never reacting.
- You own the ageing stock and the exit plan for it.
Forward Planning and the Buy
- You own the open-to-buy and the weekly sales, stock and intake (the WSSI).
- You plan 9 to 12 months out. You know what you’re buying by season well before it’s needed, POs are signed off far enough in advance that goods come in by sea in good time, and air freight is an exception you had to justify, not a habit.
- You own the demand plan and the size curves, rebuilt each season from what actually sold, and you know the intake by size on every order.
- You own speed to market on repeats. Committing fabric in bulk so we can turn multiple styles and sizes quickly off the same base, rather than starting from zero every time we need stock.
- You own the supplier commercials: cost prices challenged season on season, discounts and margin negotiated, MOQ splits reworked so a minimum follows the data rather than dictating the buy.
Working with Product
- You own the commercial view on what gets designed and bought. Product brings the idea, you bring the data on whether it sells and at what volume.
- You own the read on where we’re underoptioned: which categories are thin against demand, which are worth expanding into, and the data that backs it.
- You’re the voice of reason in the room. When something doesn’t stack up commercially, you say so at the time, with the numbers.
- You protect the space for risk. Product should be able to try things, and your job is to make that affordable by sizing the bet: smaller quantities, tighter first buys, and a clear read at the other end of whether it earned a repeat.
- You own the market analysis behind your view. Comparable brands, their ranges and their price points. You do that work yourself.
- You own the range framework: option count by category, price points, core against new. Once it’s agreed, you hold it.
Price, Margin and Markdown
- You own the price architecture across the range, and where every new product sits on it before it’s costed.
- You own margin: intake margin by line and blended by category, known before the buy is placed, not after.
- You own the markdown and discount strategy. When something goes down, by how much, and why, planned before the season rather than decided in a panic.
- You own the cost of it. Markdown spend tracked against the sales it bought.
The Line List
- You own it, start to finish, and it’s right every time anyone opens it.
- You open it as the range framework before design starts, and you hold it as the live plan through to delivery.
- You keep it current within 24 hours of anything changing. Product, marketing, finance and GTM all plan off it.
- You’re accountable for what it tells us: where the range is thin, where we’ve duplicated ourselves, which price points are empty, which months are overloaded.
Trading and Reporting
- You own the weekly trade against plan by category, with variances explained rather than reported.
- You own the call on every new style at 8 and 12 weeks. Reorder, hold or exit, in writing.
- You own the weekly Merchandising Insights Report: trade view, stock cover, what’s overstocked, what’s short, a why on every major movement, and actions at the top with a name and a date on each.
- You own the quarterly buy review: OTB against committed against actual, sell-through by style, the kill list and the chase list.
- You surface the problem first. Slipping dates, lines going short, overstock building, margin drifting, with the number attached and a recommendation.
KEY SKILLS
- You can build a WSSI and explain it, and defend a size curve from the data underneath it.
- Data-fluent. Excel is second nature, lookups, pivots and models included. Quick across Shopify and whatever reporting you’re given.
- In the detail. You check your own work before anyone else sees it. A wrong SKU or a broken total doesn’t leave your desk.
- You can put a recommendation in front of a founder and hold your ground, because you’ve got the data.
- AI-powered. You use AI day to day, Claude ideally, to move faster and make sharper decisions, and you check what it gives you before it goes out.
- Direct. You flag risk early, give realistic dates, and put your name on your recommendations.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Stock cover, stock turn and sell-through, first and foremost
- Availability on core lines
- Intake margin against plan
- Markdown spend as a percentage of sales
- Forecast accuracy
- An accurate weekly WSSI
- No range or pricing decision gets made without your numbers in front of it
EXPERIENCE
- Five years or more in merchandising at an e-commerce or multi-channel clothing brand, where you owned the number for a category or range.
- You’ve planned a year ahead, not a quarter. You can talk us through how you phased intake across a season and what you’d do differently.
- You’ve owned price architecture and margin and negotiated with suppliers to get both where they needed to be.
- You’ve built a range plan and worked alongside a product team off it, including the times you said no.
- You can walk us through a season you traded: what you chased, what you killed, what the markdowns cost.
SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE AT BOXRAW
- Act Like an Owner. Take real responsibility from day one.
- Find a Way. Focus on solutions, not problems.
- Fight It Out, Then Commit. Debate openly, then unite behind decisions.
- No Excuses. No negative energy, no bureaucracy.
For this role in particular: you trust the numbers and you know when to question them. You’d rather raise something in the standup than explain it at the end of the season. You can push back on the product team without making it a fight, because you both want the same thing, product that sells. And you get the detail right, because the whole business plans off your work.
BENEFITS
- Meaningful equity via growth Employee Share Option Pool.
- Private healthcare (UK only).
- 33 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
- Quarterly staff gear allowance.
- 50% friends and family discount.
- Weekly team boxing.

We’re a mix of backgrounds and we like it that way. If you work smart and you’re still getting better, we want to hear from you.
*In every mind is a fighter.
THE ROLE
BOXRAW makes product for boxers, and the fit and details are how boxers judge it.
The Garment Technologist owns the technical side of everything we make: fabric, fit, construction, trims, finishes and the way a garment is put together. You take a designed product, make sure it is right, and hold every factory to that standard. We are strong on the vision for a product. This is the technical knowledge that turns that vision into a garment that performs, and keeps working round after round.
HOW YOU’LL WORK
- Work with design so the tech packs that go out carry the correct technical detail across fit, patterns, details, trims, fabrications and logo applications - the technical aspects of the product. Design owns the pack, you make sure what's in it is right.
- Follow up with factories so the first sample comes back meeting expectation.
- Measure samples, resolve fit issues and deliver scaled sizing charts.
- Support fit sessions with design and the product team, and make sure every fit comment or pattern change reaches the factory clearly.
- You report to the Product Development Manager, who owns the tech pack, the critical path and the sealing dates. Yours is the technical quality of what goes out and what comes back.
Main Accountabilities
Fit and Sizing
- Support fit sessions so the product team's requests are delivered.
- Own size charts, grading and production tolerances across the full size run.
- Hold consistency across the range and across years. A large in one style should be the same large in another style, and the same large again next season.
- Work to our development process and own the technical standards inside it. This is a new role, so where the fit, measuring and QC detail is not written down yet, you write it, and our factories and our QC team all work to the same thing.
Patterns and Blocks
- A strong understanding of patterns and pattern cutting. You can look at a flat pattern and see how the garment will fall on the body: balance, where the ease sits and how much, suppression and dart placement, the shape of an armhole, neckline or crotch panel, and what grain and bias do to the way a fabric hangs.
- Work with factories to improve fit and troubleshoot problems, specifying the pattern correction rather than only the measurement.
- Make sure blocks are being used consistently. Build and keep the block library up to date.
- Research new fits and bring suggestions to design and product.
Trims, Fabric and Finishes
- Keep trims and details consistent across ranges, categories and suppliers, on aesthetic and on quality. Same drawcord, same tipping, same label, same standard.
- Support design and product with fabric, trim and finish suggestions and research: drape, handle, recovery, weight and how it washes.
- Know what garment dye, washes, prints, embroidery and transfers do to a garment over time.
Testing and Quality
- Manage testing across all categories. What gets tested, what passes, and what the reports tell us.
- Fabric and garment testing including shrinkage, colour fastness, pilling, seam strength, and logo, print and trim durability. Approve test reports and care labelling.
- Instruct our third party QC team. You give them the documentation setting out exactly what to check on each product.
- Work with merchandising and QC on returns and quality issues, and take the cause back to the pattern, the spec or the factory.
Suppliers and Critical Path
- Day to day technical contact with our factories. Follow up on queries, chase amendments and check they have been made properly.
- Follow up on the critical path so development stays on track. The Product Development Manager controls the dates.
- You may be required to travel to factories with the team.
KEY SKILLS
- Strong across jersey, fleece, knitted and performance fabrics.
- Pattern cutting, pattern amendment and grading across a full size run, by hand or on CAD.
- Deep fabric knowledge, and what to specify to get the result design is after.
- Construction and sewing techniques. Which seam, which machine, which finish, and why.
- Writing technical detail and fit comments that leave nothing open to interpretation.
- Confident with suppliers directly, in person and on calls, across time zones and language barriers. You can explain a technical change to someone who does not share your first language and know it has landed.
- Comfortable holding a factory to a standard, and saying no to a sample that is not right.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- A customer can buy a large in any BOXRAW style, this season or next, and it fits the same body.
- Fit and quality faults are caught before bulk rather than in returns
- Factories work to our spec without repeated chasing, and amendments come back right first time
- The product that arrives is the product that was designed
EXPERIENCE
- Three years or more as a garment technologist in apparel, with fit and sizing as your own area
- Experience across a full product range, including jersey and performance product
- Proven ownership of size charts, grading and tolerances
- Direct experience managing overseas factories on technical amendments and quality
- Experience setting or running a testing programme and approving test reports
- Desirable: 3D and CAD tools such as Clo, Optitex or Gerber, PLM systems, outerwear or protective product experience, and compliance or sustainability testing
SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE AT BOXRAW
- Are energised by our vision, excited by our brand and have a genuine desire to take up the boxing lifestyle.
- Seek ownership, are mastery-orientated and driven to be the best in the world at what they do.
- Are unafraid to speak their mind, communicate with transparency and give direct feedback, receptive to this in kind.
- Are solution-focused with a Find A Way attitude.
- Understand the opportunities, challenges, nuances of life in a start-up and are happy to roll up their sleeves - no job is too big, or too small.
- Motivated to be part of a
For this role in particular: you are precise, detail is how you work rather than something you get to when there is time, and you have a point of view on fit that you will argue. You're curious about product, seek ways to learn more about it and as such, you bring ideas forward. You chase, because factories move at the pace of the person asking.

We’re a mix of backgrounds and we like it that way. If you work smart and you’re still getting better, we want to hear from you.
*In every mind is a fighter.
THE ROLE
The Product Development Manager gets quality product here on time.
You run development for everything BOXRAW makes: apparel, footwear and equipment, plus collaborations and product for the elite boxers we work with. You lead the product team, work with our factories and QC partners, and every other team relies on you to know what's launching, when, and whether it's right. For anyone who loves product, few roles let you touch this much of it.
HOW YOU’LL WORK
- The founder sets the product direction and works closely with the designers on what we make. You turn that direction into finished product, on time and to standard.
- Launch dates are agreed with the founder and commercial team. Once a date is set, it's yours to deliver.
- You live in the product roadmap. Every day you check in on each product, what's still outstanding and who has it.
- You know different things take different amounts of time, and every supplier has its own tendencies. You plan and chase around that.
- You keep the roadmap accurate, so anyone in the business can open it at any time and see where a product is, what's left to do and who owns each part.
- Design and our Garment Technologist report to you. You own the tech packs, the critical path and the sealing dates.
- You work side by side with our Garment Technologist every day, and a strong, productive relationship between you is essential.
- Travel to our factories and suppliers with the team is part of the role.
Main Accountabilities
Critical Path and Roadmap
- Build the critical path for every product back from its launch date, and hold it.
- Know at any moment the status of every product, who is making it and which trims, fits or questions are still outstanding.
- Clear what's open on each product daily: a sample to measure, send back or buy, designs to get from the team, a tech pack to update, a fit issue to resolve.
- Look for blind spots and plan contingency before you need it. When something is at risk, bring the solution with the problem.
Suppliers and Factories
- Main contact for our factories on development and production dates.
- Know how each supplier works: who is quicker at what, who needs chasing, and what always takes longer to confirm or test. Chase accordingly.
- Hold factories to account on dates and standard, and go to war for us when they are not delivering.
- Agree and hold sealing dates.
Samples and Tech Packs
- Get designs from the team on time so the critical path doesn't start late.
- Keep tech packs up to date with every comment and change.
- Buy, receive, log and return samples, and make sure each one is measured and signed off.
- Make sure every fit comment from the Garment Technologist reaches the factory and comes back right.
Quality and Complaints
- Book our third party QC and work with them and the Garment Technologist to hold factories to the standard.
- Own quality issues and customer complaints, and keep a clear log of every one.
- Take each issue back to the supplier, make sure it's fixed for the next run, and hold them financially to account where it's their fault.
Pricing and Handover
- Negotiate cost prices with our suppliers and recommend the retail price for each product.
- Package up every product for the brand and marketing teams so they have what they need to sell it: features, fabrics, fit, pricing and launch dates.
- Present each product to the wider team with the designers, so everyone understands why it was made and who it's for.
- Keep product information accurate and up to date as changes happen through development.
Collaborations and VIP Orders
- Deliver ad hoc orders for elite boxers and our collaboration partners, sometimes to dates that would normally be unthinkable.
Leadership and Communication
- Line manage design and our Garment Technologist, and keep the whole team working to the roadmap.
- Make sure brand, digital, commercial and operations always know what is landing and when.
KEY SKILLS
- A working understanding of how product gets made: tech packs, sampling stages, fit, grading, trims and construction. Enough to spot a problem and ask the right question.
- Building and running a critical path across multiple styles and seasons.
- A feel for timing. When to push a supplier, when to wait, and what is likely to run late.
- Confident with suppliers directly, on calls and in person, across time zones and language barriers.
- Comfortable holding a factory to a date and a standard, and escalating when they miss it.
- Negotiating cost prices with suppliers, with a sense of where retail should land.
- At home in spreadsheets and systems, and keeps them accurate without being asked.
- Writing updates that are clear, direct and leave nothing open to interpretation.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Quality product lands on time, on the dates we agree
- When something is going to slip, we hear about it early, with a solution
- Anyone can open the roadmap and see where every product is and who owns what
- Suppliers fix what went wrong, and pay for what was their fault
EXPERIENCE
- Five years or more in product development or production, ideally sportswear or performance
- Direct experience managing overseas factories on dates and quality
- Proven ownership of a critical path across multiple styles and seasons
- Experience running or managing a QC team or process, and handling supplier claims
- Desirable: footwear or equipment development, collaboration or licensed product, and experience line managing a small team
SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE AT BOXRAW
- Are energised by our vision, excited by our brand and have a genuine desire to take up the boxing lifestyle.

For this role in particular: you keep a live system accurate because that is how you work. You chase before you're chased. When something goes wrong, you bring the problem and a way through it, and you stay on it until it's fixed. You love product and you're curious about it everywhere, from how things are made to why they work. You want the customer to feel the difference in what they wear.

We give you a BOXRAW product, its launch date and where it stands today. You build the critical path back from launch and show us where the risks are. THE ROLE
Every glove, every tee, every tracksuit BOXRAW ships starts life as a line on our line plan. The Buying admin assistant is responsible for overseeing the life cycle of every product.
This is the engine room of the brand. As the buying admin assistant, you will be running the engine and taking on the responsibility for the smooth running of the department. Overseeing the critical path means making sure POs are raised on time, supporting cost price negotiation and ensuring ex-factory is agreed and maintained. You will develop cross functional relationships; connecting and updating the internal teams as well as building strong relationships with our suppliers. Working under the commercial director, you will own the PO process, the line plan. You will support the product data analysis as well as the critical path.
Main Accountabilities
Purchase orders
- Raise POs from signed-off quantities and issue them to suppliers.
- Chase order acknowledgements and confirm factory dates.
- Log every PO on with its cost price and factory date within 24 hours of placement.
- Run each PO through our internal buying system end to end, from raising it through to confirming the invoice and the payment.
Product data, SKUs and barcodes
- Create SKUs and allocate barcodes, applying the naming convention every time and catching duplicates before they reach a garment.
- Set new products up in the line plan with every field completed:
- Maintain the product database: cost prices, composition, weights and dimensions, HS codes, care labelling, country of origin.
- Keep product data clean and consistent across our internal systems, our website and the 3PL.
Critical path and deliveries
- Track sample dates, approvals, factory dates and delivery dates, and chase suppliers for updates.
- Work with product development team to flag anything slipping early, with a name and a date attached.
- Delivery paperwork: ASNs, packing lists, and any discrepancy between what was ordered and what arrived.
Retailer orders
- Raise and administer retailer purchase orders and the paperwork behind them.
- Issue order requests, chase responses and consolidate them.
Invoices
- Match supplier proformas and invoices against the PO and the goods received, and flag every variance.
- Pass clean, coded documents through to Finance.
Reporting
- Pull the weekly status report: POs raised, deliveries due, anything late, anything missing data.
KEY SKILLS
- Obsessive accuracy. Manage all line plan data, updating other systems where appropriate.
- Strong Excel. Lookups, filters, pivot tables, and the discipline not to break a formula-driven workbook. No VBA needed.
- Proactive. Follow up and strong communication are key to this role.
- To the point. Short, specific supplier emails, and status updates someone can act on without ringing you.
- Comfortable in systems. You'll work across our internal buying system, Shopify and Excel every day.
- Dynamic and adaptable. You’ll embrace the start-up, fast paced environment.
- Right to work in the UK and happy to be at HQ in Coventry five days a week.
EXPERIENCE
Useful, not essential:
- Merchandise admin assistant, allocator, buying admin or supply chain admin in apparel, footwear or consumer goods.
- Critical path management and supplier chasing.
- Barcode and GTIN allocation, PLM, or product data management.
- Shopify, or any ERP or WMS experience.
- The basics of importing: incoterms, HS codes, freight paperwork.
TRAITS THAT WIN AT BOXRAW
- Obsessive ownership: you handle the data because you own it.
- Pride in craft: you care about the details.
- Reliable force: consistent output and consistent standards.
- Speak your mind with confidence, value transparency.
- Approach every challenge with a 'Find A Way' mentality.
BENEFITS
- Meaningful equity via growth Employee Share Option Pool.
- Private healthcare (UK only).
- 33 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
- Quarterly staff gear allowance.
- 50% friends & family discount.
- Weekly team boxing.

ABOUT US
Founded in 2017, BOXRAW was built to lead the narrative of boxing: the lifestyle, the culture and the competition of our sport.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to own and scale BOXRAW’s performance marketing across Paid Social, Paid Search and CRM.
This is a hands-on, in-the-detail role for someone who lives in the platforms, obsesses over the numbers, and knows that modern paid growth is won or lost on creative. You’ll own the channels, drive the creative and testing engine that feeds them, and raise the standard as we scale. Reporting to the Head of Digital, you’ll be a key player in scaling a deeply purpose-driven brand into a global legacy.
HOW YOU’LL WORK
- You own BOXRAW’s paid media (Meta, TikTok, Google) and CRM end to end: strategy, execution, budget, testing and reporting.
- You set the direction across all three channels and brief the Brand Team to keep strong creative flowing.
Main Accountabilities
Paid Media & Creative
- Own and execute BOXRAW’s paid media across Meta and TikTok (Paid Social) and Google (Paid Search), from build and test through to optimisation and reporting.
- Drive the creative engine behind it. Turn customer insight and performance data into clear angles and briefs for the Brand Team, run a weekly testing pipeline, and log what wins and what dies so learning compounds.
- Keep pushing for more creative, more often, so paid has fresh, proven work in market and can scale.
CRM
- Own BOXRAW’s CRM end to end across email and SMS: strategy, segmentation, flows, campaigns, testing and reporting.
- Build and maintain a strong flow suite across the lifecycle (welcome, post-purchase, winback, at risk, abandoned cart and checkout, birthday and more) that generates 50% of Klaviyo revenue.
- Build and nurture value-based segments, and grow reliable, evergreen email revenue so we rely less on drops and one-off sends.
Strategy & Planning
- Own and lead the digital marketing strategy across the three channels, plugging into BOXRAW’s wider commercial and GTM direction.
- Set direction against the KPIs that matter: traffic, CVR, new-customer CAC, LTV, RFM, blended ROAS and COS, with blended COS and new-customer contribution as the north star.
- Take responsibility for a seven-figure marketing budget, managing pacing and allocation with real judgement and staying on top of the numbers, with spend sign-off from the Head of Digital and Commercial Director.
- Work with the Commercial team to translate quarterly, monthly and weekly trading goals into digital marketing execution.
- Improve first-party data collection and use it to lift conversion, and maintain product feeds into the platforms.
- Keep insight moving across channels so none operates in a silo, and represent digital marketing at GTM meetings.
Reporting
- Build and own a clear reporting framework across your channels, feeding the daily, weekly and monthly meetings.
- Provide clear, concise reporting for stakeholders on strategy, objectives and performance across campaigns and evergreen activity.
KEY SKILLS
- Strong across all three channels. Meta, TikTok and Google, hands-on.
- In the detail. You live in the platforms, break the data down, and find the fix others miss.
- Creative instinct. You know what good looks like, why an ad works, and how to brief it so the Brand Team can build it.
- Testing discipline. You run structured tests, log every result, and let the learning compound.
- Commercial judgement. You understand the numbers behind a media plan and question them before you act.
- CRM fluency. Confident in Klaviyo across flows, segmentation, campaigns and testing.
- Data-fluent. Fast and confident across Shopify, GA4, platform reporting and spreadsheets. Lookups, pivots and models are second nature.
- AI-powered. You use AI day to day, Claude ideally, to move faster and make sharper decisions.
- Self-starter. You own the agenda and push it forward without being told.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Paid media scaling efficiently, with blended efficiency held within target as spend grows.
- New-customer acquisition cost trending down.
- A steady weekly flow of fresh creative in market, and a testing pipeline that keeps producing winners.
- A full CRM flow suite live and generating half of Klaviyo revenue.
- All three channels contributing and scaling profitably.
EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years in a hands-on performance marketing role for a DTC ecommerce brand, carrying real budget and real targets.
- A genuine performance operator, hands-on across Paid Social, Paid Search and CRM and technical inplatform across Meta, TikTok and Google. You build, run and test campaigns yourself.
- Experience with Klaviyo as your email platform, as well as Shopify.
- Ideated and executed end-to-end digital marketing campaigns and activations.
