At BOXRAW we are always pushing forward. Over the last few months, we've been busy changing the game and changing the world.
BOXING IS LOVE
Boxing Is Love has joined forces with Future Champs to launch a new global HQ in Cape Town, South Africa. The new facility will offer a safe and secure space to help children overcome social epidemics through boxing.
This new partnership will expand our shared goal to change the world; nation by nation, glove by glove.
GURŌBU
With over 5 years in development and 7 groundbreaking patented features, Gurōbu is in the final testing stages of development to ensure it’s the most aerodynamic glove on the market.
We’re currently in the process of using Computational Fluid Dynamics to further refine the glove before it goes to the wind tunnel for final testing. This will ensure that you’ll be able to punch faster and be less fatigued due to reduced drag and air resistance. Gurōbu will be launching later this year.
WOMEN BREAKING BARRIERS
Last month we celebrated the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women (past and present) across the globe.
We felt International Women’s Day was the perfect occasion to partner up with gyms globally, where we ran free events for women to experience boxing for the first time.
Here’s to celebrating strong powerful women everywhere, may they continue to break down walls, defy stereotypes in and out of the ring and use the power of boxing as a tool for life!
YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR
In November, our Founder Ben Amanna won Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Already a member of the Forbes 30 Under 30 cohort for 2021, Ben insists that he has nothing else in mind than “keeping the momentum going”.
