THE GLOVE LANDSCAPE

Boxing Gloves were created to protect the hands of a boxer, yet elite boxers still suffer from hand, wrist and knuckle injuries which inhibit their performance. And, due to a conscious or subconscious fear of injury, some boxers are still yet to realise their true potential.

STARTING AT GROUND ZERO

We had to forget everything we thought we knew about the Boxing Glove and study the optimal skeletal form of the hand upon impact of a punch. We identified key areas of the hands, wrists and knuckles that needed protection and built out a brand new pattern that could facilitate hard punches with optimal hand positioning across a multitude of angles.

Aerodynamics at the core

After every significant sample improvement, we used a wind tunnel and ran computational fluid dynamic testing to reduce the drag coefficient upon extension and recoil of a punch. The result is the most aerodynamic Boxing Glove in the world, enabling boxers to punch faster and preserve energy in the championship rounds.

MADE IN ENGLAND

The development of our foams and leathers took us across Japan, China, Switzerland, and Italy. However, after an inability to control the development, quality or accuracy of these components, we decided to manufacture and source everything in England.

Thousands of rounds with the very best in boxing and a constant feedback loop have made the last 6 years an iterative learning experience. We’re now ‘almost’ ready to launch. Every pair of Gloves will be handmade in our headquarters in England, taking our team of passionate artisans and engineers 7 hours to complete.
